We offer three services, for full management, rent collection or on a let only basis, with one aim - to maximise the letting income whilst ensuring we provide a reliable and responsable tenant.

Marketing

All properties are advertised on Rightmove, our own website and through various other media including Twitter and the local property paper. We have excellent connections with several executive relocation companies who service relocating clients to the local area. All the staff employed at Farmer & Dyer are involved with sales and lettings and we pride ourselves with our staff continuity, which means that whilst you are away you deal with the same staff contacts throughout your leave.

Referencing and Deposit

We have a strict policy regarding the tenants we accept, firstly passing our own vetting procedure before instigating tenancy proceedings. A suitable tenant will be asked for an initial £350/£600 holding monies and every tenant is referenced by Homelet, an independent referencing agency, before we continue with the letting process. We hold from the tenant equivalent of one and a half months rent as a deposit which is registered under the Tenancy Deposit Scheme with ‘My Deposits’, a Government recommended scheme, and is held in a ‘ring fenced’ account with Barclays Bank PLC.
